With 3 of the 5 SCORE races completed in the 2012 season the Strobel Motorsports team continues to be in a very strong 3rd place position in the premier Trophy Truck class. The race truck performed flawlessly with no mechanical issues and only 1 flat tire at Race Mile 232 of the 249 on the map. Sal Fish and his SCORE team definitely put together a rugged race course full of the infamous "San Felipe Woops". However, when all the sand settled after 4 hours and 49 minutes the driver Steve Strobel and co-driver JT Tondro finished 7 in a strong field of Trophy Trucks which again leaves the team 3rd in Trophy Truck points going into the legendary Baja 500 in early June.
