"Super Bowl" of off-road racing - The Baja 1000 Prerunning Is Underway

The initial prerunning of the grand-daddy of all off-road races has been in progress for a week now.  Adding to the challenge and complexity Hurricane Paul strafed the center of the Baja peninsula creating some localized flooding and washing out some roads as well as many points on the race course.

More prerunning will continue the first week in November with all 3 driver/co-driver teams heading back down to complete their "homework" and marking the course.

I would encourage our race fans to become fans of our team on facebook in order to receive more up-to-date and more frequent updates on race progress going forward.  This medium appears to have broader appeal than our team blog so it receives more content.  Like our facebook page at www.facebook.com/strobelmotorsports

Thanks folks!  More to come as the weeks lead up to the start of this year's 45th annual running of the Baja 1000.  It is a peninsula run starting in Ensenada on Thursday, 11/15 and finishing down in La Paz BCS sometime on 11/16.  Go Strobel Motorsports!
